You don’t need a finished layout to get started. Send your logo file and the wording you want, and Valleyview quotes the design, paint and application together. If your own designer has already drawn a full-side graphic or a fleet layout, send that artwork with your request so the quote is based on it, and mention any brand guidelines on colour or placement that the containers need to follow.

For a container customers will see, a new one-trip unit gives the cleaner result: straight walls and fresh factory paint make a smooth surface for paint and decals. A used container shows dents, surface rust and faded paint from its working life, and its markings vary from unit to unit. It can still be repainted in your RAL colour and decaled, but paint changes the colour, not the dents. For branded storage where looks matter less, a used unit keeps the cost down.

Sometimes a factory colour is close enough. New 20ft containers can be ordered in a range of factory RAL colours, such as RAL 7035 Light Grey, RAL 9010 Pure White, RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, RAL 3009 Oxide Red, RAL 6007 Bottle Green and RAL 5010 Gentian Blue, with other RAL colours on request and pricing that varies by colour. If none suits, Valleyview paints the container in the RAL closest to your brand colour. For other sizes, ask which colours are available.

A standard 20ft container gives you roughly 160 square feet of side panel, and a 40ft is twice as long. The long sides take the largest logos and full-side graphics; the end walls are much narrower. Plan around the doors: cargo doors fill one end, both ends on a double-door unit, and a side-door unit opens along one long wall. Tell Valleyview which side will face the road or your customers, and which way the doors should face on delivery.

Cut vinyl decals are your logo and lettering cut from exterior-rated vinyl and applied over the container’s paint. Full-side graphics are large-format designs that run across the whole side of the container and can span several panels. Decals suit a logo and contact details, or naming a jobsite or storage unit; full-side graphics suit a high-traffic spot where the whole wall carries the design. Both are quoted per design.

On a multi-unit order, the containers can also match in size and condition grade. When you add units later, tell Valleyview which earlier containers to match and send the same logo files, so the new ones are quoted to that standard.

Your electrician’s and plumber’s final connections are separate, and insurance is between you and your broker.

For a 20ft, a minimum of 16 feet of vertical clearance, free of power lines, tree branches and building overhangs. Look up as you walk the path from the road to the drop spot: the hydro service drop to the house, a carport roof and low limbs over the driveway are all worth checking. Steel stud framing is Valleyview’s standard for insulated builds, because it doesn’t rot, swell or feed mould when condensation shows up inside a steel container. Wood stud framing costs less and is available where cost matters more than moisture, but it isn’t recommended where moisture is a concern. Both are priced per container on the published modification menu, and either can be chosen in the Container Studio.
