How we deliver your sea can.
Thirty seconds on what your site needs before the truck arrives — the clear length, the ground, the access, and when to call ahead. It applies whether you're taking a plain storage container, one of our custom containers, a site office, a bunkie or a modular home build.
Illustrated guide, 1920×1080, captions included. Clearances shown are for a 20-foot container; a 40-foot unit needs more room — ask when you book.
Before delivery day
Everything in the video, written down. Five things to check — if any of them is a question, call before the truck leaves Kamloops and we'll plan the drop with you.
72 feet of total clear length
Measured in a straight line and including the container's final resting position. The rig is a pickup with a 22-foot deckover tilt trailer, and the container slides off the back.
Firm, level, load-bearing ground
The trailer tilts and the container slides onto whatever is underneath it, so soft or sloped ground is one of the things we ask you to call about before delivery day.
A straight unloading path
The truck cannot turn while the container is coming off. Gates, overhead wires and branches, parked vehicles and tight corners all need checking before booking.
People and pets back
Give the operator room and stay beside and behind the moving container, never in front of it.
Not sure? Call ahead
Soft or sloped ground, blocked or narrow access, low wires or branches — call us before delivery day so the site can be checked and the drop planned properly.
